Spiritual progress is not a question of attaining to some abstract standard, or of pressing through to some far-off goal. It is wholly a question of seeing God’s standard. You advance spiritually by finding out what you really are, not by trying to become what you hoped for. Seeing the accomplished fact of your God-given holiness determines the pathway to the realization of that fact. Find the truth concerning yourself in Christ.

I am a Christian in recovery from four decades of active addiction. I earned a B.S. in Psychology from Colorado Christian University, and I am currently earning an M.A. in Theological Studies at the same school.
